An effective EPA registered selective algae control product that solves algae problems. Helps control “green water” algae blooms, blanket weed, and string algae.
Kills existing algae and controls additional algae blooms.

The technical information on PondCare's website was incorrect in late 2008 on Algaefix so PondCare wrote us the following:
"To control algae, add 1 tsp per 50 US gallon, or ¼ cup per 600 US gallons. Add it every 3 days. Once the algae is under control, dose weekly to maintain control.
As for temperature information relative to Algaefix: In warm weather, make sure there is VIGOROUS aeration of the pond, as decaying algae can rapidly reduced levels of dissolved O2, something already quite low in warm water. Most likely, supplementing the current aeration regime is in order. If the weather is flat-out HOT, you should probably await the return of cooler temperatures.
As far as low temps, no issues reported, Algaefix works quite well in cold water."
