AQUASCAPE, INC. INTRODUCES THE AQUABASIN
St. Charles, IL - The days of rigging up plumbing and catch basins to store water for decorative fountains are officially over, thanks to Aquascape's newest product announcement. Aquascape is pleased to introduce the all-new AquaBasin, made out of black high-density polyethylene with a double-wall construction and an octagon shape that allows for maximum strength when installing and back filling into the ground. The AquaBasin™ measures 45" front to back and left to right with a depth of 14" and will hold 75 gallons of water!
The decorative basin comes with a 2" lip at the top, allowing for just enough gravel around the decorative item and an 18" diameter, with 4" drop down in the middle to set the decorative piece, keeping it stable. Not only will the AquaBasin save contractors time installing those stone fountains, columns, and pots, bit it will also make things easier on the homeowner.
There is a pre-cut hole in the bottom for easy access while attaching the plumbing and two 9"x12" grated doors on the top, one on each side that allows for multiple pump locations along with easy access to the pump. The AquaBasin was designed to support pumps from 250 GPH to 4000GPH, if necessary.
"With a 75-gallon capacity, homeowners won't have to go out and fill up the basin every day, or even every other day," Gared Bell, Product Development Coordinator for Aquascape, Inc., said.
Aquascape showcased the new AquaBasin at their April Water Garden Excellence training, where it got rave reviews from contractors and retailers alike.

The AquaBasin provides a more natural-like water flow and look than a fountain does, because the water seemingly disappears into the rock below - much like the Pondless Waterfall. Similarly, the AquaBasin™ can be operated on a timer to come on at a time of your choosing, even twice a day, for as long as you wish.
Lights may be added to accentuate your feature in the evening, accommodating the ambience and mood. The AquaBasin is perfect for our customers who would like to add a water feature to their landscape but don't have room in their budget for an Aquascape Pond or Pondless feature.
