Customer Question:

My kit was delivered today and everything looked fine except for possibly one item. I believe the photos below are of the vault which holds the pump. As you can see there is a hole in the bottom of the plastic container. The box holding the contents did not seem to be damaged at all. Will this affect my installation? Should I have a new piece sent to me?

Easy Pro Answer:

It is actually normal for these vaults to have a hole in the bottom. All of these vaults have one. It is part of the molding process and even though it doesn't look too pretty it does not affect the integrity of the vault. As you know the vault sits in the bottom of the reservoir with the pump inside it and is designed to have water fill it. So, a hole in the bottom of it doesn't hurt anything and is not something that is seen once it is installed.
