Customer Question:
I am thinking of purchasing the large (26') aquascape pondless kit but need to know the dimensions of the basin. Also what is your recommendation for the width and depth of the stream bed?
Aquascape Tech Answer:
The pondless basin will be 5’x5’, 2.5’ maximum depth with the foot of the pump vault recessed below the bottom of the large AquaBlox. This will also give you 4”-6” around the perimeter for backfill. I would recommend the stream/falls be no wider than 2.5’, 12” deep. I would recommend creating deeper pockets under the waterfalls for more sound & also to make it look more natural. Great item!
I think this is one of the best pondless waterfall kit that I've seen in the market and have personally used too. I only trust this brand and the ones from pondless-waterfall-kits-wadjustable-flow-pump-2-si because I've already been using them for years in my backyard ponds and pondless water features.
