Very Bad Filter

As a follow up review to the one complaining about the extremely limited head pressure sustainable by this filter I would like to add the following. The seller’s rebuttal is that the “flow” must be limited to less than 1,000 gph. I had actually limited the flow to half that. Still, as the filter accumulated the slightest bit of resistance from build up, which coincidentally is what a filter is supposed to do, the seal would again blow out and I would lose my pond water. There is no preventing this since it happens in a relatively short time. After dumping my pond twice I took the filter apart and cemented the o-ring in place with construction adhesive.

I, in no uncertain terms, do not recommend this filter.
