AQUASCAPE ANNOUNCEMENT 9/13/21:
Due to the inconsistent supply coming out of the quarries in Mongolia and China, worldwide shipping delays AND the exorbitant overseas freight costs, we have temporarily discontinued all of the Mongolian Basalt products and their associated kits effective immediately.
If you have any of these products currently on order, our customer care team will be contacting you to confirm your understanding of this. In the future, once supply and freight challenges are alleviated, we hope to bring these products back into our product line. Aquascape Keyed Basalt Columns allow you to incorporate the sights and sounds of water into any environment, creating a beautiful water feature wherever they are installed.
The set includes stones of three varying heights at 6", 12", and 18" high. When installed, the water will rise through the core in the largest column and spill into the next-smallest column.
Aquascape Keyed Basalt Columns are handcrafted and textured from natural stone. No two columns are alike, providing each stone with unique qualities.
Aquascape Keyed Basalt Columns can be paired with the Aquascape AquaBasin® 30, kink-free tubing, and Ultra 400 Pump for a complete setup.

Winterizing Basalt Fountains:
If you live in a climate that experiences prolonged freezing conditions then we recommend removing the pump from the basin. Place the pump in a bucket of water if you have an “oil-and-seals” type pump and store it in a place that will not freeze. If you have a mag-drive pump, just clean and store.
Do not drain the basin during the winter months- allow the water to freeze in the basin so that the ground doesn’t cause the basin to rise or “pop up” from expansion of the freezing soil around it.
The Rock Columns are manufactured to withstand freezing conditions and can be left outside during the winter months. There is no need to cover the Rock Columns.
