The Head Height is defined as the Vertical height from WATER LEVEL to the TOP of the Waterfalls...PLUS...1' for every 10' of HORIZONTAL distance the pipe travels. For example, if the top of the waterfalls is 4' high from the water level and the pipe travels 20' horizontally from the pump to the falls, the actual HEAD HEIGHT is 6'.
That being said, The Pump Selection Chart indicates:
Dark Green Zone: Best Zone for Energy Efficiency and Pump Life Expectancy
Light Green Zone: Maximum Suggested Operating Zone
