Kasco has redesigned the J Series fountains for increased performance and improved pattern definition, all while maintaining the same cost of operation as current models.
These new models feature increased water flow for crisp and larger laminar displays, no increase in power (amp) usage, and new Balsam 3-tier pattern. Installation and assembly is now easier than ever with fewer parts required, 1-piece float, twist and lock nozzles, easier maintenance and snap-on light clips for installation of optional lighting (purchased separately).
Redesigned units are available in both 60Hz and 50Hz (1-5HP) options.
Kasco J Series fountains are the perfect focal point in any pond or lake. From the 30 ft. high attention-demanding Redwood pattern to the elegant Balsam 3-tier pattern, each nozzle offers its own visual appeal. Designed with both beauty and function in mind, these fountains can improve overall water quality by increasing oxygen transfer. All J Series Fountains come with multiple nozzles included in the price and can be paired with an optional light kit.

How to choose between J Series and VFX Series Pumps:
J Series Decorative Fountains
The biggest advantage of the J Series fountains is they come with a set of 5 nozzles/patterns. You get 5 different displays for the price of one. You also have the opportunity to add Premium Nozzles for even more displays. With the large, decorative displays, we typically recommend these at a rate of 3HP per acre for aeration purposes. However, most people choose a fountain based on pattern shape/size desired.
When is a J Series fountain your best choice?
- You want a large, dramatic display
- You have a specific height, width, or shape you desire
- You like the idea of changing the display for a new look
VFX Series
The main advantage of the VFX Series fountains is that they are more of a hybrid fountain-aerator. They provide a good mix of high water flow and aeration capabilities with the classic funnel or “V” shape fountain pattern. These fountains do not have the ability to change displays, but provide a good mix of aeration and a visually pleasing display. Since they only have one display, they also carry a smaller purchase price tag. We recommend these at a rate of 2HP per acre for proper aeration.
When is a VFX fountain your best choice?
- You need aeration but also want a fountain display
- You do not necessarily need or want tall displays (i.e. windy areas)
- You only want the classic “V” shaped fountain display
