To have a healthy pond, a narrow pH range of 6.5 - 8.5 must be maintained.

Many external factors including acid rain and photosynthesis can cause pH swings.

Wide swings in pH can harm and even kill fish.

To avoid harmful swings and maintain a healthy pH range, a buffering capacity of 80-240 ppm is required.

Real Clear® Buffer is manufactured to maintain pond water at optimum buffering capacity of 80-240 ppm.

When properly applied, Real Clear® Buffer will stabilize
pond water pH in the healthy range of 6.5-8.5.
