All plants will be shipped "Zone-Appropriate" in Spring 2019.
Plant orders are shipped "Zone Appropriate" in order to ensure that your climate is right for plant survival. Our growers monitor weather conditions and ship accordingly.
The Grower determines which Zones are warm enough to accept plants for the coming week on Sunday and then ships the plants going to those Zones on Monday-Wednesdays. We want to insure that no plants end up sitting in a FedEx or USPS warehouse over the weekend.
Each item is a single unsorted red lily, not identified by specific plant name.
Water lilies grow well in any USDA hardiness zone.
Water lilies can be grown in a tub on the patio or in ponds of any size. They grow from tubers planted in pots beneath the water and send up stems with rounded leaves and star-shaped blossoms that float on the surface.
Hardy lilies are dependable and easy to plant. Daytime bloomers, they blossom in the morning and close after sunset, lasting three or four days before sinking beneath the surface.
Hardy water lilies go dormant in winter and may be left in the water or stored.
