Hardy low growing bog plant.Lemon Bacopa is a dainty plant is an excellent choice for the edge of the pond or as a trailing plant in the waterfall or stream bed. It spreads quickly and can be used as a ground cover in a bog area. Bright blue flowers adorn the lemon scented foliage all summer. To winter over in colder climates, simply take some cuttings before the first frost in your area and place in water in a bright sunny window indoors.

Lemon Bacopa plants will thrive in a wide range of growing conditions, from moist soil as a bog plant, or in water as a floating or submerged plant. The Lemon Bacopa is a great aquatic pond plant for providing a place for fish to hide and reproduce. Lemon Bacopa plants are ideal for tucking into crevices along the pond edge, bog area or waterfall. Sold in bundles of 5.

PLANTING INSTRUCTIONS

Plant several bundles of the Lemon Bacopa together submerged in a 4" planter or a 1 gallon container with aquatic planting media or simply tie the bundle to a weight and drop into the desired section of your pond or water garden. Lemon Bacopa is ideal for tucking into crevices along the pond edge, bog area or waterfall.

FERTILIZATION

Fertilization is typically not needed for Lemon Bacopa as they take excess nutrients from your pond water.

PLANT MAINTENANCE

For best results, trim leaves as they begin to turn yellow or brown, remove them completely, discarding them to keep as much excess organic material out of water-body as possible.

WINTER CARE

When performing fall maintenance tasks, cut back Lemon Bacopa to 1" above the pot and submerge back into center of pond in zones 9 or higher. This stops winter die off from entering the pond as decaying debris.
