CrystalClear Nature's Choice Barley Straw Pellets utilize barley degradation technology to help manage ponds all year long. When placed in an area of steady water flow CrystalClear Nature's Choice will slowly degrade and emit a natural chemical that cleans and polishes pond water naturally.

 After three months it is best to replace the bag with new pellets and begin anew. If the bag should be left in longer than two months the barley will begin to rot and could create an unsafe condition within the pond.

 Nature's Choice Barley Straw Pellets are much better and work faster within a pond environment than barley bails because they are "pre-broken down". By grinding and pelletizing the barley it enables it to be broken down much faster than in a bail form.

 Nature's Choice Barley Straw Pellets can be applied in skimmer units, filter units, waterfall units or in any area of water movement. Water movement degrades the pellets faster and enables them to perform their function much faster.
