The taller two basalt columns have spillways carved into them allowing the water to fall and flow smoothly from one column to the next. The smallest column will overflow into the basin below.

Tallest column is core drilled with a 1.25″ (32mm) hole from end to end with the last 1.5″ enlarged to 1.375″ (37mm) to hide the light ring.
