A special blend of highly activated carbon that removes colors, odors, and poisonous waste from pond water.

API Activated Filter Carbon Clears Pond and Aquarium Water and Removes organic waste, colors and odors. Activated Carbon is a special blend of highly activated carbon - an economical filter carbon for the pond hobbyist. Also removes poisonous waste from ponds and aquariums. Can be used in most filters.

Directions:

Use 1/2 cup (8 tablespoons) of API Activated Filter Carbon for each 10 U.S. gallons of aquarium or pond water.

• Rinse thoroughly under cool tap water to remove any loose dust. Note filter carbon does not need to rinse clear.
• Place in filter media bag and use in filtration device according to the manufacturer's instructions.
• Replace Activated Filter Carbon every 4 weeks, sooner if aquarium or pond is heavily stocked or if odors or colors are detected.
• For the combined benefits of improved water clarity and ammonia removal, use API AMMO CARB a convenient, dual purpose filter media comprised of activated filter carbon and a natural ammonia-removing mineral. When changing water or adding fish, use Stress COAT to remove chlorine and chloramines and to reduce fish stress.
