2 months old and it leaks and the heater stopped working after first freeze. Solid ice. Expensive garbage.

We have these and have worked great for two years; after they do not stay water tight then lights fail!

I second the sentiments regarding these " Expensive" Aquascape lights. Not watertight...poor seals. I purchased 4 of these in 2012. Returning them today for either new lights or a refund!

They fail in two years like the other reviews say. I just applied sealer to one to see how that works. Going to try another brand or the new ones with a 5 year guarantee. These are a big expensive disappointment.

I purchased two of these systems in the Fall of 2012. In the spring of 2013 I had both solar switches fail. While the company replaced them, one of the replacements failed as well. I also continue to experience problems with the all of the lights staying on. In general the lights are bright and do perform well.

I used most decoys and the heron kept coming back. The gator worked the best!! I move them around each day and I have seen the heron fly over but has NOT bothered to land. So HAPPY cause I lost a lot of fish and frankly I'm tired of feeding that heron!!

Ordering a new bamboo fountain. 10 to 12 years ago I purchased the same 36" design from this same company and it has lasted fantastically in our 4'x8' pond, in high elevation snow country. As the seasonal ice would form a bit (beautiful also), I'd then unplug it for the rest of the snow bound winter. It would be buried for many months of extremely deep snow and when winter melted away, I would simply just plug it back in and the enchanting sound of melodious water would immediately return to delight that part of the garden and some nearby rooms. It is been a FANTASTIC product and an important part of my enchanting garden. I LOVE this product and The Pond Outlet and thrilled to be ordering a new one today. FYI If I had wanted to store it away through the winters montes it certainly would have functioned fine for many more years, although I enjoyed plugging it it from time to time in the winter as the snow levers were under 36"...... Very satisfied and happy customer.

I have tried many products over the years, and this one is the best for algae, including string. I have never had a problem with it killing my plants...lotus, water lilies or iris. Highly recommend.

My parents spent $69.56 on this kit to help clean their pond in their yard. It had algae clung to the liner and this kit was worthless. The algae head - have no clue what the purpose was. You could but a towel on a broom and swirl it around and have the same effect. The algae brush was nothing more than a large bottle brush. The skimmer is a small pool net. This kit was just money taken from my parent's (already limited) income. My mom said she called and they gave her $15 back for algae head. No Refunds I guess. So I would not buy this EVER.

OK for fish and plants......... HAZARDS to humans & domestic animals................................... ????? Wildlife,OK or Bad...........

My bottle came with a cracked cap and had leaked some. When I reached out, Richard had me send a picture and they sent a replacement bottle the same day. Excellent customer service!

It's not what I expected it's so thin and small ! Hard to get the dirt under it so it's stable to withstand the water and small stones! not happy with this product! Allendale water course !

installed the lights in June of 2016 and one of the waterfall bulbs and two of the under water bulbs had burned out by december of 2016 was very disappointed. I couldnt replace them until may of 2017 due to the coldness of the water.

Lasted 2 years and the pump froze up,would not recommend.

I absolutely love my fountain. I have had it for about 20 years.

My fountain keeps running itself "dry" after only a few hours of use. I have made sure I have a "slant" to flow the water back into the bucket. I have tried it with the lid of the bucket on top of the liner, beneath the liner, etc... nothing seems to help. The pump keeps starting and stopping... and suggestions?

We absolutely loved the bluestone kit for the ten days the pump worked. Installation was easy; the most difficult part was deciding how to most artfully arrange the stones for a nice effect. It's not necessarily a largest to smallest stack one should build; wish I could share a video here so you could see and hear the way the water tumbles off with the arrangement we landed upon.

This Aquascape Iongen System was a life changer! For the past 10 years, I’ve spent every Spring and Summer treating my pond for string algae and algae bloom. I did everything I was told to control it. I installed filters, uv lights, skimmers, and aerators. I bought bio-balls, chemicals, barley extract and barley bales, a dozen skimmer nets for scooping algae, consulted with pond “experts”, spent hours vacuuming nearly every day and paid enormous water bills as a result. Finally, after years of back breaking work and having run through two pond vacuums, I phoned the Pond Outlet to order my 3rd vacuum in hopes that a new improved one would somehow lessen my work. Thankfully, Richard told me to try the copper ionizer. Within two days, I could see it was working and it cleared up my entire 15,000 gallon pond in 3 weeks. My fish and plants are thriving and I have a crystal clear pond despite having the warmest Spring on record. As retirees, we now have more free time to actually ENJOY the nice weather and our beautiful clear pond. Sunny days used to mean one thing for us---WORK. The Aquascape IonGen was truly a life saver and we will be eternally grateful for Richard’s suggestion and Aquascape’s superb product.

At last!! No more expensive uv lights or chemical! I’ve been using mine in a 10000gal pond for two years! I have fish and plants and it doesn’t seem to effect them at all! Much cheaper than uv and way more effective!

This is my second pump in 6 years. The second pump lasted 2 years and 1 month. It broke one month out of warranty. I called the company but was told too bad. At almost $500 a piece you would think they would last a little longer.

I've owned two over the last four years. Both failed and were not repairable. Water was the culprit in both failures, but aren't they supposed to be submersible? I cannot afford $400-500 every other year to push water through a filter to a waterfall. I'm not sure what is "Pro" about these pumps.

Will last you 3 years max. No more. My second pump just broke after less than 3 years.

I have been very happy with my pump. It was installed the summer of 2005 and has run continuously since with one intentional shutdown a year for pond cleaning. Now, unfortunately it is kicking off theGFI.

My aquascape pump that I installed over seven years ago just went out. Performance was excellent and even had two jams (frogs). Will be purchasing a replacement.

My aquascape SFA4500 just failed, it was installed in May of 2005. It was on a timer and ran from 6:30 AM to 11:30 PM every day from May until Dec. Its in Connecticut so of course its removed for the winter.I am planning to replace it with the same model,hope I get another 10 years.

The kit contains a black adapter to be used with the aquascape check valve on my aquascape pro pump. Replace the lowest fitting with the black adapter in the kit. This is a 2 minute job and preserves the original dimensions from top to bottom. Pay less for the aquasurge pump and get an extra year of warranty.

I bought an aquascape 4000-8000 from another retailer - but beware of this pump - the remote receiver unit didn't work. Better to get a simple plug-in pump ! I you're a contractor and under a schedule - test it before you install !

Sorry you are having problems with your remote.

The only two issues that we have experienced with those remotes were mainly Operator errors.

• 1.The first is misinterpreting the �-/0 button� on the Transceiver. Many customers have thought that was an On/Off Switch when they are actually shown below as we have posted on our site. For the Remote to work, you must depress 0. If the Minus Sign is depressed the setting reverts to the last previous setting and the remote will not work.

Pump can be set at:

0 = Use Remote

- = Bypass Remote

2. The 2^nd is not fully inserting the �Micky Mouse Ears� plugs into the transceiver as explained below:

Please view the pictures on our site..... When fully inserted you cannot read any of the numbers on the top of the cord. On the bottom of the cord when fully inserted you can read half of the letters of transworld. It inserts a FULL inch. You can clearly see in his first picture of the bottom of the plug that the plug is not fully inserted AND the blue gasket is bent out of place. I have also attached a picture of what it looks like from bottom fully inserted....you can see blue border all the way around.

We have sold hundreds of these pumps and have had very few issues with the remotes. Whenever we have had a customer report an issue, it is usually either one or the other of the two issues above.

That being said, what issues have you been having?

We installed our pondless waterfall and Aquasurge 4000 pump EIGHT YEARS AGO here in Davidson NC. Still going strong and it runs 24/7. Definitely the best possible pump for the money and worth the investment over anything else!
