Customer Question:

Hi...I see you have underwater LED lights that I can use chlorine pucks with, at least that what it said on your site. #LED12WW Would you please confirm?

Easy Pro Answer:

Great question. The LED9WW, LED12WW and the LED18WW are chlorine rated. They are 316 stainless steel fixtures with an electropolishing process for extra protection and are chlorine rated. But as with anything too high a concentration could damage the lights.

Customer Question:

Stainless Steel Underwater LED Lights by Easy Pro - 12 Watt and 18 Watts I am looking at this light to put under my ice dam in the winter will this work and do I need a transformer help

Easy Pro Answer:

Yes, these lights do require a transformer. We have several choices, but I would recommend our EPT45 transformer.

I am not sure what your customer's goals are here. Is he trying to melt the ice dam? If so, it's possible a higher wattage halogen light would be a better choice? If he is just looking for aesthetics the LED12WW or LED18WW might be a good choice. These fixture are rating for in water and out of water operation and they are made up of very strong stainless steel construction. Please note, these fixtures are not intended to be frozen into ice...
